BIO

Stephen Bacon was born in Nottinghamshire in 1971, although he has spent most of his life within the confines of South Yorkshire. His parents bought him a collection of Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories when he was nine years old, and from then on he was lost to the written word.

His fiction has been reprinted in Ellen Datlow’s Best Horror of the Year series, and has been published in magazines such as Black Static, Shadows & Tall Trees, Cemetery Dance, The Willows, Crimewave, and in many acclaimed anthologies. His debut collection, Peel Back the Sky, was published by Gray Friar Press in 2012.

He lives with his wife and two sons, and an increasingly large collection of paperbacks. You can contact him at the email address below.

Good day Mr. Bacon and I hope you are well. This is the first time I have been on here, I found your link through the Mortbury Press website. I’m ashamed to admit that I have yet to read any of your work but I promise that this will be rectified ASAP.

OK, now that the introdutions are over let me get down to the reason for this mail.

I run a message board called British Horror Novels and I would be honoured if you could perhaps link it to your blog.

Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon.
    Regards.
    Ian.
